The Best Way to Investing is to Learn to Do It Yourself
Jim Rogers :
The best way to learn is to do it yourself; there`s nothing quite like it. I have read a lot of books (I have written books myself) and talked to a lot of people, but I`ll tell you there is nothing like doing it.
You can invest on paper and learn that you`re a great investor, but when you actually do it, it`s a whole lot different. I don`t know of any other profession where it`s quite the same - you have got to do it in order to know whether you are good at it, because your emotions, your passions and your thought process are a whole lot different when you have got real money bon the line and the market is open, and you are sitting there trying to figure out what to do. - in Trading The World Markets - Interviews With The Great Global Investors
