America could default, its scary

As much as I want America to continue its success and lead the world, I personally as a human being cannot understand why the US has to print money and become the worlds largest "debtor nation". Its baffling and mind boggling. Below Jim Rogers has a few words on the subject. "They’re not on the brink of default because they can print as much money as they want. Yes, America’s the largest debtor-nation in the entire history of the world. Nobody’s ever been this deep in debt and it’s going higher and higher."
