Savers did not buy 4 houses with no money down and no job
People who saved their money, invested, did not buy 4 houses with no money down and no job. These people are being wiped out at the expense of the people who did.
And the reason is, there are more of them, than people who save and invest. Historically this has always led to a disaster for a country. You wipe out the people who save and invest and your country becomes a basket case.
