Silver is going to go much, much higher over the next decade

"Silver's going to go much, much higher over the next decade," Jim Rogers said. :" the world is having shortages developed in nearly every metal" Jim Rogers explained . " ...I own the metals themselves , I happen to own some Rio Tinto which I have owned for decades , 12 years , basically I rather own the metals themselves rather than the miners ""If you picked the right miners or the right oil company or the right anything you can make a lot more money than you are making in the metal there is no question about that , but the study show that you better off owning the commodities themselves than rather than the miners or the oil companies , for instance natural gas tripled in the last few years , well Enron was a natural gas company , Enron went to zero , natural gas can go down but it cannot go to zero the same with all commodities , if you picked the right one you are going to make a lot lot more money but otherwise you should stay I think with the commodity itself" - in CNBC

Silver is not in a bubble

Legendary investor Jim Rogers chairman of rogers Holding said that he is worried about the silver parabolic move upward : "I hope something stops it going up. All parabolic bubbles pop. All parabolic moves end badly. Maybe the U.S. dollar becomes confetti and silver goes to $150 — that would be a U.S. dollar collapse." He said

“I’m worried about silver,” he said. “If silver continues to go up the way it has been in the last two or three weeks … then it will get to triple digits this year,” he added.

“My hope is for silver and gold and all commodities is that they will continue to go up in an orderly way for another 10 years or so … eventually the prices will be very, very high,” he explained

Silver could hit $150 this year

"I own silver, but if it keeps going up, it could turn into a problem if it goes parabolic," If it hit $150 it would look "very dangerous" says Jim Rogers
"I do not have any prices in my targets. If suddenly World War III breaks out, then I would not sell silver at $200 this year. So it depends on what is happening and what is causing this," he said.

"I certainly hope silver goes down for a while. If it goes down, I hope I would buy more, and if it goes up too much too fast, then I have to sell."

Silver is a freight train

a pull-back in Silver

Jim Rogers : I hope we have a pull-back, I hope it goes down for a while, it’ll be good for the market. In 1987 stocks went down 30 to 40 percent, smart people went in a bought more. If it goes down I hope I’m smart enough to buy move silver.

Silver parabolic rise

"I certainly hope it doesn't happen  because I own silver and want to buy more," Jim Rogers told Financial Survival Radio. "If silver continues to go up like it has been over the past 2 or 3 weeks, yes, then it would get to triple digits this year. And then we'll have to worry. It's not parabolic yet". - Jim Rogers

Silver could reach 100 dollars - Jim Rogers

If it does there is a bubble and we will have to sell. That would be a parabolic move and all parabolic moves end badly. I hope it doesn’t happen because I own silver and want to buy more. I hope they continue to go up in an orderly way for another 10 years. If triple-digit silver hit this year I would be selling.

I worry about silver, not parabolic yet, I hope something stops it going up. I don’t know what could cause a correction, but you never know what could cause a correction. All parabolic bubbles pop.

Maybe the U.S. dollar becomes confetti and silver goes to 150 USD — that would be a U.S. dollar collapse. - Jim Rogers in GuruFocus.com

Silver is 40 percent below its all time high

Jim Rogers recently said ”silver is going up, but silver is 40 percent below its all time nominal high. Yes, commodities have been going up recently, but they are still extremely depressed on a historic basis.”

Silver will definitely reach new highs

Jim Rogers : Silver will definitely reach new highs. As I have said, the US dollar is in serious trouble, and will be debased a great deal in the future, and eventually will be problematical itself. So gold and silver will be measured by the US dollar but I hope there will still be some sound currencies no matter what happens.

Do not sell your Silver

Jim Rogers : Do not sell your Silver

Famed investor Jim Rogers told CNBC in an interview dated 30 March 2011 that he sees the Silver and Gold bull market has still a long way to go : : ..." I just bought some gold and silver last week , not a lot but just for a variety of reasons , if they go down I am gonna buy more yes , the bull market in Silver has a long way to go ....paper money is being debased all over the world , no paper money is sound , virtually no paper money is sound anymore we're having shortages developing in silver , a lot of speculation ...no the world a lot more inflation a lot more currency debasement , don't sell your silver ..."

Jim Rogers recommends investing in Coffee and Silver

...cotton is making new highs, sugar has been growing up, and gold you know what has been going on in the markets. I would look at things that have not moved up this much. Buy silver than gold, for instance, if you want to buy precious metal. I would like to buy coffee than some of the things that have moved up so much, but there is still a huge potential. If governments are going to continue to print money, we are going to have higher prices for commodities though you may not have higher prices for stocks somewhere down the road, but as long as you require money, it is going in the commodities, among other prices.....in economictimes.indiatimes.com

Gold & Silver

What you have to do is you have to find things that will protect your assets, real assets: Silver, rice, natural gas; something that will hold its value in an inflationary time... I do it two ways: I own gold and silver coins in my hand, in my house, in my box; I also own gold and silver futures that’s another way to do it. - Freedom Watch, February 7, 2011
